The Reality of The Application of Total Quality Management at The arab American University from The Point of View of its Faculty Members

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the reality of applying total quality management in the Arab American University from the point of view of faculty members, and to identify the nature of the differences in the reality of applying total quality management from the point of view of faculty members at the Arab American University, which is attributable to the variables of the college, years of experience at the university, and career rank. The sample of the study consisted of (100) faculty members at the Arab American University, and the study used the total quality management measure. The results concluded that the reality of applying total quality management in the administrative field was at very high degree, and in the academic field it was at high degree. The results also showed statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) between the average responses of the research sample on the reality of the application of total quality management in the Arab American University in the administrative field of total quality management, the overall degree attributable to the variable years of service for years of high experience; 15 years and older, and the existence of statistically significant differences in the administrative field, academic field and overall degree due to the functional rank; in favor of the head of the department.
