The Degree to which Primary School Principals in the State of Kuwait Possess Self-Management from their Perspective

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the degree to which Primary school principals in the State of Kuwait possess self-management from their perspective and the effect of variables (gender, years of experience) in this, and the descriptive survey approach was used, and to achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was developed, consisting of (28) paragraphs distributed into three domains which are: (Managing the professional side and managing the behavioral side). Its validity and reliability were verified, and the study sample consisted of (140) principals.Primary school principals in the State of Kuwait possess self-management from their perspective came with an high degree in all domains, and the managing the behavioral sidecame in the first rank, then Managing the professional sidecame in the second rank, and the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the estimates of the study sample according to the variables of gender and experience, the study recommended the study recommended increasing training courses that develop other aspects of the personality of human behavior for school principals.
