The Religious Impact on the Poetry of Abd al-Razzaq Abd Al-Wahid

Abstract

The religious impact on Abdul Razzaq Abdul Wahid's poetry can be monitored through many milestones that were evident in some of his poetry collections and manifested in their best form in some of the poems that have become a prominent title in his poetry.

We divided the research into three sections: the first one held the title An Overview of the biography of the poet. The second topic shed light on it on the Qur’anic effect on his poetry, and the third study celebrated the impact of religious concepts on his literary output.

    It has been evident through the research that the religious impact on the poetry of the poet Abdul Razzaq Abdul Wahid appeared in two types: the first: the Qur’anic effect on his poetry: and among the images of that effect is intersexuality with some of the surahs and Qur’anic verses, or the quotation from the verses of the Holy Quran.

The second: The impact of religious concepts in his poetry, and this appeared through the philosophical spirit that prevailed in some of his poetic texts, as well as through interrogation of the old religious text and its projection on our contemporary reality.

   And the religious impact on his poetry was evident through his being influenced by religious symbols and trying to reveal what he feels about them through his lengthy poems in them, and from the faces of religious influence as well, the Islamic or religious vocabulary in general that his poems are full of, and which have become present in most of his poetic texts.
