Motives and Reasons for Primary School teachers Reluctance to use Technology and Digital Education Platforms

(A questionnaire study)

Abstract

This study aims to identify and determine the reasons and motives for the reluctance of some primary school teachers to use digital and technological technologies and digital learning platforms in education and in the delivery of scientific material to students, whether in the classroom or remotely, by identifying the reality of learning sources in the scientific subject for students.

 

In order to achieve the objectives of the study, which is to know the reasons that lead teachers to refrain from using the educational digital platforms in the school, where a questionnaire was designed consisting of  different axes, then the validity of the questionnaire was verified by presenting the questionnaire to educational supervisors who have sufficient experience in the field The study and its surroundings.

The study was also applied to approximately (40) primary school teachers within the scope of the General Directorate for Education of Baghdad Portfolio / Al-Karkh First and for various specializations, with the help of some educational supervisors and some school administrations, as samples will be randomly selected from each specialty and for several distributed schools. Within the geographical area of ​​the Directorate of Education, in order to show the discrepancy and discrepancy between primary school teachers in high and middle income regions, to determine the causes and causes of technological and digital abstention.
