The Tactical Attitude of the Football Players for the Three Positions (Defense, Midfield, Attack) at Nineveh Governorate Club

Abstract

 The tactical attitude and the good decision-making between the lines and the playing centers are important factors in the success of the team and the interrelationship between defense, midfield and attack lines. Nowadays the world ‘s football begins most of its plans by shifting from defense to attack and showing the capabilities of each of the playing centers in terms of thinking and good attitude with the ball either on the defensive level or on the offensive level.

- The research aims at identifying  the differences in the tactical attitude of the three line players (defense, middle, attack) in football.

- To recognize the level of the tactical perception of the three line players (defense, midfield, attack) in football.

- and to achieve the aims, the following hypothesis was put forward :

- There are moral differences in the tactical attitude of the three line players (defense, middle, attack) in football.

- The researcher used the descriptive approach  that fit the nature of the research.  The experiment was carried out on a sample of the  applicants in Nineveh clubs of the first class  (Ninawa, Kafaat Ninwa, Albaladia, Alamwaj), in which 6 players were selected from (72) players from each center and from each club). Homogeneity was achieved between the two research groups in the following variables (age, height, weight, training age). The experiment was lasted for(4) days , each day was used to choose one of the clubs.

- Concerning the results, the researcher reached the following conclusions:

- There are statistically differences in the tactical attitude between the three lines of play (middle, attack, defense).

- The midfielders are more superior than the centers (attack, defense) in the tactical attitude .

- Attacking players are more superior in the  tactical  attitude than the defensive players.

- Based on these conclusions, the researcher made the following recommendations:

- The emphasizing on  developing the tactical attitude of the players through the training units in addition to the coach’s theoretical lectures using modern video equipment and giving a kind of privacy for each center.
