فاعلية كتيب إلكتروني تفاعلي للتعريف بالتراث الملبسي العسيري للبنات في مرحلة الطفولة المتأخرة
Abstract
This research aims to measure the effectiveness of the proposed interactive electronic booklet to introduce the Asiri clothing heritage, including (apparel, jewelry, and cosmetics) to girls in late childhood. The interactive e-booklet is considered a relatively new method in the field of education and supports the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's 2030 vision of achieving the goals of e-learning. The research instrument consisted of a pre-post achievement test to measure the effectiveness of the electronic booklet in addition to a questionnaire to evaluate the interactive electronic booklet in terms of educational and technical standards, the validity and reliability of which were verified after being presented to several specialized arbitrators. The research hypotheses were verified using the quasi-experimental method based on one group with pre-post measurement. The research sample was chosen randomly to measure the effect of the independent variable (the interactive electronic booklet) on the dependent variable, which is (the level of cognitive achievement among female students). The sample consisted of 51 female students from one of the schools in the Mohayil Asir Governorate, affiliated with the Asir region, to raise students’ knowledge achievement rate about the clothing heritage of the women in their region. Data were collected during the third semester of the academic year 1444 AH - 2023 AD. The research has proven that the use of the proposed interactive electronic booklet increased the percentage of cognitive achievement among the research sample in favor of the post-test, which proves its effectiveness as a contemporary educational method. The reason for the high rate of cognitive achievement is due to several reasons, including the availability of feedback in the booklet, in addition to the availability of enrichment hyperlinks that are easy to use. The results also demonstrated that the opinions of the specialized arbitrators were positive towards the design of the proposed electronic booklet, which proves the availability of educational and technical standards for the electronic booklet in terms of designing the display interface and adding pictures and video clips, as well as the appropriate selecting of sound and color, and other educational and artistic standards.
