Reflection of the Aesthetic Values of the Decades and Arcs of Islamic Architecture in the Formation and Design of Contemporary Furniture

Abstract

The study dealt with the history of the creation of architectural arches and arches and their development, revealing their aesthetic values ​​in Islamic architecture and benefiting from it in forming arches and arches using artistic methods and employing them in the field of furniture design to extract new pieces with artistic formations that keep pace with contemporary furniture with the Islamic identity. The study followed the descriptive analytical approach and the experimental approach. One of the most important results of the study was that it is possible to benefit from the aesthetic values ​​of Islamic architectural arches and arches in forming and designing contemporary furniture that keeps pace with modern developments and opens new horizons and an innovative vision in the field of furniture design. Islamic architectural arches and arches in the design and formation of contemporary furniture confirm the Islamic identity. It enhances it in light of the wild developments in contemporary furniture design. Among the most important recommendations of the research is urging specialists and researchers in the field of design to study Islamic architectural elements because they contain artistic riches that contribute to opening the horizons of innovation and design creativity in the field of furniture design and strengthening scientific and knowledge offices with contemporary Islamic furniture design studies that keep pace with modern developments.
