The United Nations between the Performance of Its Tasks and the Need to Reform It

(An analytical study)

Abstract

Since ages there were requests for reforming The United Nations and review of working mechanism of it , The Security Council  was the core of theses requests, specially what related to membership and the authority , although , such efforts was not fruitful until now , The voice for reformation has not been weaker , since  it was launched in the most important and biggest constitution in the world. Powers, which was changed a lot after the foundation of The United Nations  in forties of the last century.

The Security Council is the most powerful arm of the Unite Nations  and most prominent instrument to enhance the control of super powers on the world ., and impose their wills on the third world countries (developing Counties), the outcome of those several of the requests focused , particularly which was protested by the countries from outside  permanent members of the council ,requesting to widen membership in fair and suitable , because the Africa and south Arnica contents are excluded and Asian representation is not proper with its population size in comparison to the other world countries.

The subject includes, the right of rejection (VETO) power of the Five permanent   members (America, Russia, China, France, Britain), within the demands of such requests.

 These requests also including re-organizing of the United Nations organization structure , and reforming the secretariat general, and creation of new producers  which include guidance of expenditure and improving the capabilities of the organization to manage peace keeping process.
