Abstract

This study aims to utilize original children’s drawings from middle childhood without any modifications and apply them using hand embroidery. A descriptive-experimental approach was employed, where a group of children was asked to create drawings and share the themes and motivations behind their artwork. These drawings were then printed onto fabric and embroidered using hand stitches that matched the original lines and colors chosen by the children, ensuring no alterations to their artistic expression. The embroidered artworks were completed as wall hangings. The study demonstrated that children’s drawings can be preserved as authentic artistic expressions, reflecting their vision and characteristics across various fields. By applying these drawings to hand embroidery as decorative wall pieces, the research opens new possibilities for integrating children’s artwork into products such as clothing, toys, home textiles, and illustrated stories. This approach highlights children’s natural creativity and the potential to transform their drawings into meaningful and expressive designs.
