Sheikh Jaafar al-Subhani is one of the most prominent contemporary scholars and jurists, and a leading religious authority in Qom. He is an expert and researcher in Islamic sciences, leaving behind a significant cultural legacy encompassing various disciplines, including jurisprudence and its principles, exegesis, theology, hadith studies, rhetoric, literary criticism, Islamic history, Shi'ism, sects and creeds, and other research. His studies are based on an important approach that stems from the Islamization of the humanities within a scholarly environment influenced by imported ideas, where some researchers deny the brilliance of their Islamic heritage. Al-Subhani focused on the culture of the Qur'anic text and the thought of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in establishing the foundations of Qur'anic studies and Qur'anic sciences. This prompted researchers to highlight his scholarly output. Researcher Haider Khaz'al Fahd wrote a book about him, which was his master's thesis at the University of Baghdad and published under the title "Studies in Qur'anic Sciences According to Sheikh Ja'far al-Subhani (A Study in Methodology), published by the Ain Center for Studies and Research in Iraq, consists of an introduction and four chapters.
