Positive Thinking and its Relationship to Motivation for Learning among Primary School Teacher Training Students
Abstract
The current research marked with (positive thinking and its relationship with motivation towards learning among the students of the Department of First Grade Teacher) where the research community is from the students of the Faculty of Basic Education / the Department of Teacher of the First Grades at the University of Sumer, which is (1100). The basic research sample consisted of (100) students of (100) students of the first grade teacher, the morning study, and by (22%) students from the first grade teacher - Faculty of Basic Education - Morning Study for the academic year (2025/2026). The sample was selected by the random class method with relative distribution, and the research tools were prepared. The first tool is the positive thinking test and may be from (20) paragraphs. The second research tool was represented by the measure of motivation towards learning and may be (24) a paragraph of five alternatives, and the authenticity and stability of the two instruments have been verified and the psychometric characteristics of them have been known. The data was then collected and statistically analyzed using Spss. In light of the results of her research, the two researchers reached the following conclusions: The students of the first grade teacher have high abilities of positive thinking, as the arithmetic average of the test exceeds the hypothetical average. The students of the first grade teacher have clear characteristics in motivation, as the arithmetic mean exceeds the hypothetical average of the scale, which reflects the power of implicit intelligence as an influential factor in their knowledge and skill acquisition. There is a statistically morally significant correlation between the positive thinking test, the motivation scale and the direction of the first grade teacher students, which confirms the integration between these two variables and their importance in the development of educational abilities. The researchers presented a number of recommendations and proposals.
