The Effectiveness of Educational Planning in Achieving Curriculum Objectives and its Obstacles from the Perspective of Educational Supervisors in the Nablus Directorate of Education
Abstract
This study aimed to examine the reality of educational planning among teachers from the perspective of educational supervisors in the Nablus Directorate of Education. It also sought to identify the level of curriculum goal achievement and the main obstacles facing educational planning, in addition to examining differences according to gender, academic qualification, years of experience, and educational stage supervised. The descriptive analytical method was used, and a questionnaire was administered to a purposive sample of 32 educational supervisors. The results indicated that planning practices were moderate, curriculum goal achievement was relatively high, and planning obstacles were moderate. No statistically significant differences were found due to gender, qualification, or experience, while significant differences were found according to educational stage. The study recommended enhancing training programs, strengthening supervisory follow-up, and reducing administrative burdens to improve the quality of educational planning and teaching outcomes.
